The printroom project works as an art pop-up room for art creation, art presentation and art discussion, the space is located in the Ballard Estate of Mumbai, a busy creative district of the city.
as the printroom is conceived as a short-term use in the space of a former print shop, the design is ‘easy and flexible’.
a group of fixed and moveable elements is forming varying spaces enabling the desired functions: art gallery, artist studios and residencies, lecture space and art related events.
